Page
M. Lauer, MFT, is an expert Marriage and Family Therapist
who has assisted many individuals reclaim their lives and their power
from the tenacious hold of eating disorders, depression and trauma.
In addition to being licensed by the State of California to
practice psychotherapy, she is holistic and integrative, holding
certifications in both Yoga and EMDR. Page has trained with
some of the leading practitioners in her field, consistently and
successfully passing this expertise onto clients. She began
her practice ten years ago, directing wellness centers and teaching
mind-body integration. Since that time, she has been
committed to refining her expertise through seminar attendance and
extensive reading to provide the best therapy possible. "I am
dedicated to helping
clients connect with their life force to empower every aspect of their
personal relationships and professional lives."
Maira
Lazaro-Holzmann, MSSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social
Worker in the state of Colorado. Maira completed her Master's degree at
the University of Texas at Austin and received her Bachelor's of
Science in psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Prior to opening Chrysalis Rising, she worked at a top eating
disorder facility, the Eating Disorder Center of Denver, where she
created the model for and ran one of the only Transitions Therapy
programs in the nation - a cutting edge approach desgned to bring
psycotherapy into real world practice. Maira also
facilitated the DBT group and created group curriculums for
Spirituality, Transitions, Relapse Prevention Planning and Authentic
Self. Maira has experience in community mental health,
cultivating her clinical skills and versatility working with clients
who suffer from borderline personality disorder, major depression, PTSD
and anxiety - disorders that often co-occur with eating disorders.
Before becoming a therapist, Maira was a long time
montaineering instructor for Outward Bound in Colorado, California, and
South Africa, where she learned the power of experiential based
facilitation. Maira's passion, creativity, humor and
motivation have engaged clients and collegues alike. She is
dedicated to supporting women's empowerment, authentic expression of
self and mindfulness based practices towards self-evolution and growth.
Rick
Fraser, Ph.D., holds advanced degrees in sociology,
theology, and marriage & family therapy. He received
his training from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles
and Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Rick is
currently a professor at Cal State University, Los Angeles and adjuncts
at Fuller Theological Seminary. Rick is a Master Therapist,
with over 25 years experience in private practice and over 15 years
training the next generation of interns sitting for licensure.
He also serves as a Child Custody Expert for Pasadena
Superior Court, speaking to parents in the process of divorce, and as a
Special Master, mediating difficulties between highly conflictual
couples. He has committed his professional career to
families, successfully motivating them toward positive, lasting change.
Through a unique combination of insight, reflection and
acceptance, Rick increases communication, understanding and healing
among famliy members. "It is my hope, belief and experience,
that those who step forward in the journey of self awareness, receive
blessings of confidence, hope and love."
