Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program

INTEGRATIVE TRANSITIONAL THERAPY

Integrative Transitional Therapy (ITT) is the hallmark of what makes our program unique and forward thinking in eating disorders recovery. We provide expert, one-to-one therapeutic support in real world activities; we help clients concretely apply learned skills from prior treatment to every day life challenges. We teach clients action-oriented, problem solving methods that allow them to move from dependence to self-support. This approach empowers clients to take charge of their recovery and make choices for success.

DIALECTICAL BEHAVIORAL THERAPY

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a leading therapeutic approach that combines Eastern mindfulness practices with Western assertiveness training. Clients learn skills to tolerate distress, manage impulses, regulate emotions and build healthier, more authentic relationships with those they love.

BODY IMAGE EMPOWERMENT

Clients discover their authentic selves as they transfer anger, hurt and shame away from their bodies and onto the original, underlying trigger. We understand that body image empowerment, like recovery, is a process not an event. Through the use of powerful experiential, somatic, and other eclectic approaches, clients learn connection, awareness and appreciation of their bodies as they progress in recovery.

PROCESS GROUP

A safe environment to quit talking about recovery and actually do it. This process group provides a gentle and supportive environment of like minded others in which clients are invited to take off their masks and step forward in the vulnerability that leads to authenticity and confidence. It is a call to practice healing in the here-and-now by releasing secrets, sharing tears, asking questions and tackling the tough obstacles to health and recovery. Clients find themselves leaving group empowered with lightness and clarity.

THE CREATIVE PATH

Creativity is the antidote to depression - an essential component of our program often overlooked. We recognize that a trademark of eating disorders includes feeling lost, empty and alone, feelings that surface once destructive behaviors are addressed. For lasting recovery, we invite clients on a journey of self-discovery, passion and fulfillment that replaces eating disordered behavior and symptoms. Clients access a path that engages and develops their creative spirit connecting them to their authentic self, never to be lost.
